Signing on opens at 08:00 and remains open until 09:15. The ride starts no later than 09:30 so please be here in good time as despite the modest distance this is a challenge and only handul of riders ever complete in under 5 hours, with the majority taking between 5-6 hours riding time.

At HQ signing on you will receive a warm welcome from our team and have access to a range of benefits including:

• Plenty of seating with magazines laid out for you to read before and after the event
• Two changing rooms for men and six toilets
• One separate changing room for ladies and one toilet
• Shower facilities

We usually have some RVC branded gifts from previous years and these are typically for sale at the nominal fee of £5 per item, but look out for any marked pricing on the day or multi-buy offers.

We don’t have a secure storage area so please secure your belongings in a car or only bring what you need for the ride.

We don’t provide maps, the route has over 300 signs on and we have Garmin files available for download. **Please note, the route is subject to change due to local traffic and roadworks, any risks identified by the team marking the route so even if you have a Garmin file, look out for the RVC signs.
