The event is run each year by a band of regular volunteers and some guest volunteers. We are blessed to have coaches, volunteers and then parents and family members (young and old) from our own cycling club, the Kirklees Cycling Academy.

We also get invaluable support from local clubs like Ravensthorpe, 3RT and Roberttown Road Runners who come along and help and whom we help out too during the course of each year.

We have fantastic support from the caretakers at our HQ, Spen Valley High School, and we always make a donation to the cricket club run by Head Caretaker, Steve Pollard, who is a great advocate of community clubs and sporting development. Steve has been our guest of honour at the annual KCA dinner to thank him for his selfless support of our event.
